Months from goals to public stage

Thought leadership and why you can't build it alone.

Thought leadership isn't personal branding for its own sake. It's how B2B buyers, boards and recruiters decide who to trust. The research is unambiguous:

73%

of B2B decision-makers say thought leadership is a more trustworthy basis for judging an organization than its marketing materials.

9/10

are more receptive to sales or marketing outreach from people and companies that consistently publish high-quality thought leadership.

70%

of C-suite executives say thought leadership made them reconsider an existing supplier. Someone else's visibility is already aimed at your customers.

Consistency is the whole game

One article is noise. Buyers reward the people who show up month after month and you have a company to run. The 9-month structure keeps the cadence going when your calendar can't.

The stages are gatekept

Podcasts, press and panels don't book themselves, and pitching yourself is a full-time job. We build the features, the podcast and the public stage directly into your membership year.

Credibility is third-party

You can't declare yourself a thought leader other rooms and other voices have to do it for you. A vetted peer network of CEOs, CFOs, CTOs and CMOs sharpens your point of view and vouches for it where it counts.

What members say.

"

I've been to every networking event in Stockholm. This is the only one where I get the visibility, knowledge sharing and relationships that are long lasting.
CFO, Stockholm fintech scale-up

"

The room is genuinely closed. No vendors circling, no juniors sent as stand-ins. Everyone at the table carries the same weight you do.
CEO, B2B payments company

"

Hosting my own dinner in month 4 did more for my visibility than a year of posting on LinkedIn. The structure works because someone actually holds you to it.
CTO, embedded finance platform

Your 9-month journey.

From your first goal-setting conversation to a public stage in three phases.

Months 1–3 Sharpen your point of view
01

Goals & aspirations

A 1:1 onboarding conversation where you define what visibility means for you this year, the stages you want, the story you want to tell, and what success looks like by month 9.

02

Reading discussion group

A small reading group built around your specific C-suite role: CEOs with CEOs, CFOs with CFOs. Sharpening the perspective you'll soon be putting into the world.

03

Podcast & first feature

Your first media moment. A podcast conversation or a featured article, content you can point to, share, and build on.

Months 4–6 Take the room
04

Lead a discussion or dinner

You step into the host seat, leading a member dinner or discussion on a topic you choose, building the muscle of commanding a room before the bigger stage.

05

Co-host an industry event

You move beyond the closed member group and co-host a larger event alongside Operator Network. Your name in front of the wider Stockholm fintech ecosystem.

06

Mentor matching, both ways

Matched with a mentor further along a path you want to walk and matched as a mentor to someone earlier on theirs. Halfway through the year, you're both receiving and giving.

Months 7–9 Take the stage
07

Second feature

A second round of media coverage, this time shaped by everything you've led and hosted since month 3. The story has grown alongside you.

08

Speaking slot on a public stage

A speaking slot at a public industry event or panel, the dinners, the co-host and the features brought together in one moment, in front of a wider audience.

09

Reflect, renew, set next year's goals

You close the loop with a 1:1 review against your month 1 goals, celebrate the year's wins with the group, and set the next round of goals as you renew.

Decision-makers increasingly treat thought leadership as a vetting tool, most say it's a more trustworthy basis for judging a person or company's expertise than traditional marketing material.

Frequently asked questions.

What is Operator Network?

Operator Network is a closed, application-only membership community for C-suite executives and founders in Stockholm's tech and fintech industry. It builds each member's thought leadership and executive visibility through a structured 9-month journey of media features, podcast appearances, speaking slots, mentorship and invite-only events.

Who can join Operator Network?

Membership is open by application to CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, CMOs and founders working in or around Stockholm's tech and fintech ecosystem. Every application is reviewed for seniority, contribution and fit — the value of the network is who's in it.

What do members get?

Each membership year includes two published media features, a podcast appearance, a public speaking slot, a two-way mentor match, a member dinner you host, a wider industry event you co-host, 1:1 goal-setting and review conversations, and full access to every invite-only event we run.

How does the 9-month journey work?

Every member moves through the same arc: goal-setting in month 1, a role-based reading group in month 2, a first feature and podcast in month 3, hosting in month 4, co-hosting in month 5, mentor matching in month 6, a second feature in month 7, a public stage in month 8, and review and renewal in month 9.

How much does membership cost?

The annual fee is deliberately modest — members are selected for fit, not budget. Full details are shared on the 30-minute application call that starts every membership.

How do I apply?

Apply through the application page or book a 30-minute application call. Every membership starts with that conversation, and you'll get an honest answer on whether it's a fit.
